Acquisition of Survival Gear

Research
With the assistance of Brian Watson and Kimberley Feher at the Western Canadian Aviation Museum, Ian Leslie at the Canadian Aviation Museam, and Christine Dunphy at the Shearwater Aviation Museam, several invaluable manuals and publications have been made available to TTA, and copies have been made.

Thanks to the Master List of EO’s that Ian Leslie copied for TTA, we now have an accurate count on how many EO’s TTA needs. (In addition to that, through careful studying of the EO’s – and their cross referencing to other EO’s – a lengthy list has been produced.)

TTA now has the Maintenance and Servicing Set for the Expeditor (not an easy thing to produce). However, to do a complete BFI Inspection (Before Flight Inspection, now called a “B” Check), and to do a complete Periodic Inspection, more EO’s are needed.

As such, through the efforts of CTO T. Watson, a link has been created on this web page showing exactly what we need with regards to technical publications. Our technical library continues to grow, and it is interesting that the more publications we obtain (and the more that these publications refer to other EO’s), the more we see that we are going to need more of them.

Or, boiled down, just when you think you’re done and you have enough EO’s, you suddenly find yourself needing a whole lot more.

At some point in the future – and only through the help of various museums, veterans, and organizations – we will have enough EO’s and will be able to honestly say that TTA’s Technical Library is complete.

We have the following texts:
